Senior Database Administrator
Essential Functions: 
·         Provide support for Oracle, Sql Server and MySQL databases.
·         Database technologies supported include RAC, DataGuard, GoldenGate, Advanced Security, Partitioning, RMAN, Grid Control, Gateway, MySQL Replication.
·         Design, monitor and maintain data replication solutions.
·         Develop, test and maintain procedures for backup and recovery.
·         Implement, test, monitor and maintain high availability solutions (RAC).

Implements required security controls designed around data and databases.·        
Ensures optimal database performance and availability.
·         Monitors utilization for capacity planning.
·         Troubleshoots and resolves applications (ex., SQL) performance issues.
Qualifications & Technical Skills:

• 7+ years of database administration experience working with Oracle databases versions 10g, 11g and 12c.
• Experience with MySQL or SqlServer.
• Advanced knowledge of RAC, ASM, GoldenGate, Data Guard, partitioning, performance tuning.
• Knowledge of backup and recovery using RMAN.
• Experience with upgrading/migrating databases to new versions.
• Candidates should be able to troubleshoot and resolve highly complex technical issues.
• Working knowledge of Linux and Microsoft operating systems.
• Experience with shell scripting and/or other programming languages (Perl, PHP, HTML, Java).
• Strong written and verbal communications skills

• Able to work both independently and as a member of multidisciplinary team.
