Data Systems Analyst Key Responsibilities
Develop software requirements by analyzing information needs, conferring with users, and studying systems flow, data usage, and workstream processes
Work with architects and SME to document the architecture (conceptual, logical, physical, dictionaries, flows, domains, etc…). Document and maintain software functionality and data processes
Support PMO Maintaining a library of technical documentation, cataloging it for internal and/or external use. Determine operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats.
Create, own, and effectively work across functional areas to execute on the run book.
Write functional specifications for ETL, API, etc…
Create process engineering and/or re-engineering workflows by facilitating discussions with users, SME, and stakeholders, documenting the solution, and driving execution.
Inventory and gap analysis of systems and applications
Requirements
Understanding of technical systems
On Premise (not cloud)
Web Apps
Database
Sql Server
Experience working on large, complex enterprise projects
Experience in creating, executing, and owning the runbook
Previous Coding experience
Experience with Data Validation methods
Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical teams
Accurately and concisely communicate information, instructions, and statuses
Ability to work in a fast-paced, Agile/Scrum environment Understand and document scope of technical work into actionable items
Read and analyze database code (SSIS, SQL etc.) and document functionality
