Your Impact:
You will be an experienced Java developer with background in Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and enterprise application integration (EAI) concepts and development. You will be involved in all phases of software development including requirements definition, design, architecture, development, testing, and deployment to bring cutting edge technologies to market.
- Develop next generation cloud native microservice architecture based on best practices
- Translate designs and requirements into high quality robust code
- Evangelize the system design principles and practices
- Be a mentor, advisor, coach to other team members
What You Bring:
- A minimum of 7 years of related experience in a commercial software development role
- BS/MS Computer Science or equivalent
- Hands-on development experience using Java, J2EE, XML, SOAP, REST and SQL
- Experience in writing and understand quality database queries or Stored Procedures that are reliable, scalable and reusable
- Experience in OOPS concepts and design patterns
- Experience with Oracle or similar enterprise class RDBMS
- Experience with Big data technologies such as Kakfa, Elastic Search, No SQL DB, Hadoop, Parque, Scoop etc.
- Experience with Cloud technologies like AWS, Kubernetes, Docker
- Familiarity with micro services architecture and REST based WebServices
- Familiarity with modern DevOps practices, CI-CD pipelines and tools (Maven/Gradle, Ansible etc.)
- Experience with test frameworks like Junit/TestNG etc.
- Experience with applications servers (ex. Weblogic), containers and Spring Framework
- Experience with performance optimization and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with Linux and shell or other Unix scripting languages
- Prior experience with healthcare applications is a plus
- Experience in the full software development lifecycle using an Agile development process
- Experience working with remote teams
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication skills
