- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Operations Research, or related discipline.
- 5+ years’ work experience in a Data Analyst/Data Scientist role, co-op and internship experience can be applied.
- Proficiency and experience in Python and Data Science/Artificial Intelligence packages.
- Knowledgeable R and/or SAS.
- Experience with analyzing complex, high volume, high dimensionality data from varying sources and both structured and unstructured.
- Fluent in SQL; Familiarity with data warehouses.
- Familiarity with building data visualization dashboards using Tableau.
- Willingness and ability to quickly learn new technology and apply it to achieve business objectives.
- Advanced knowledge of machine learning /statistical techniques (e.g., regression, decision trees, gradient boosting, random forest), data mining, natural language processing, etc.
- Optimization of models and deploy them to run at scale.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and work effectively with people at all levels in the organization.
- Skills to communicate complex ideas effectively and willingness to understand the business, legal and compliance implications of a wide variety of data.
