Responsibilities: 

• Design, test, develop, deploy, maintain, and improve CI/CD automation processes across the Automation & Engineering team’s portfolio

• Provide feedback, coaching, mentoring for fellow engineers on DevOps processes

• Configure and deploy monitoring, alerting, and APM solutions for applications

• Actively participate and provide DevOps perspective throughout solution design

• Collaborate with peers on our cloud, InfoSec, and enterprise architecture teams to ensure automation is in place to meet company standards

 

Experience / Qualifications:  

• 3+ years of experience beyond college

• Experience with container orchestration solutions (Kubernetes, EKS, ECS, GKE, etc.)

• Capable with serverless architecture (AWS Lambda, SNS, SQS)

• Skilled with CI/CD DevOps platforms such as GitLab

• Knowledge with Terraform and Ansible for Infrastructure as Code

• Experience deploying applications to AWS, GCP, and/or Azure in an enterprise environment

• Track record of successfully shipping and monitoring cloud-based products

• Demonstrated success in mentoring and growing the DevOps skills of other engineers on the team

• Practice following an agile software development methodology

• Experience with microservices and Python/Django is preferred
