Job Description:
Assist with the development and maintenance of SSRS Reports and BI tools, both new and existing. Strong technical skills are required in T-SQL (MS SQL Server) & SSRS.
An understanding of medical billing and coding practices is needed or will need to be developed.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Develop SSRS reports and configure SSRS subscriptions per specifications provided by internal and external clients with minimal supervision
2. Configure reports integration to MS Office with MS BI stack of products including MS Excel, Power Pivot
3. Work in a team environment to meet deadlines and ensure department goals are met
4. Mentor junior developers in coding best practices
5. Review/QA/QC work done by other developers to ensure adherence to company standards and best practices
6. Handle multiple tasks effectively and communicate well
7. Demonstrate excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
8. Manage information assets and user access.
9. Adhere to current SDLC policies and procedures.
10. Define, maintain, and protect data input/output into logical storage.

Experience developing reports for SSRS or other tools, possess an excellent understanding of the MS development platform
5-7 years of experience and working in the healthcare industry a plus Specific Job Knowledge, Skill and Ability
Highly experienced in Microsoft Reporting Services (SSRS)
Highly knowledgeable in developing Microsoft SQL stored procedures and views and understands how they relate to reporting
Experienced in deploying and configuring SSRS reports, preferably with TFS
Possesses understanding in the areas of database and system design
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Ability to prioritize and multi-task in accordance with project schedules
Ability to develop complex reports and perform detailed analysis and correspondence
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form
