Data Analyst, NYC Client - 100% Remote

Our top Analytics as a service team has a contract opening for a Business or Marketing Data Analyst in their Enterprise Media Project Operations & Analytics department.
This is 100% telecommute, preferred EST time zone, ANY authorization or means (w2 or c2c) and we are looking to interview and hire immediately. 6 months + extensions to start.

What you do:

• Automate daily monitoring of models in production, and help troubleshoot issues while  making necessary improvements as needed.
• Using our Client-tech-tools and methods: we need you processing, cleansing and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis, and then...
• Cleary communicate design & development strategies to all stake holders, educate them as and when needed.
• Performing ad hoc analysis, interpreting and communicating results in a clear manner
• Collect and document requirements and processes from Project team and manage validation processes
• Establish supports, and maintain standards of the data analytics process

What you bring:

• Have 5+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst mining large scale data and transform data points into knowledge.
• Must be hands-on on data analysis tools and frameworks such as Hive, Spark SQL or Python
• Experience meeting business requirements and solve solutions to feed in to engineering teams in order to build data transformations.
• Familiar with technologies relevant to the data such as OLAP databases and visualization tools such as Tableau or Looker or similar
• Media and Content Management Business domain experience – Preferred
• Familiarity and experience with Adobe Analytics & Google Ad Manager
• Experience as Business Analyst – working with Business stakeholders  and doing presentations with clients stakeholders. 
• Extensive big data analysis, building analytical dimensions and metrics using Hive, Spark QL or Scripting Languages such as Python
• General understanding of databases (MySQL, SQL Server & Snowflake)
• General understanding of reporting solutions (Tableau, PowerBI, Looker, etc.)
