Senior Product Designer/UX Architect for AI interfaces
Pasadena, CA (Remote US Only EST to PST, organized in CST)
6-month contract-to-hire
Lead the digital product design for "visionary" startup, with high proficiencies in UX research, UX strategy, UX design, UI design, HCI, user-centered design principles and methodologies, product development, agile scrum and front-end development
Duties:
- Translate breakthrough technology computer vision and AI workflows into intuitive experiences for non-expert users
- Contribute to our design system, establishing reusable patterns that scale across a variety of devices
- Explore complex problem spaces, rapidly iterate on solutions, and evaluate tradeoffs with "Product"
- Deliver high-fidelity designs that clearly communicate requirements to Engineering
- Develop a deep understanding of our customers through user research
- Lead, coach, and mentor other designers on our team
Skills:
- Passion for modern UX methodologies, UI design and interaction patterns
- Experience using Figma, Axure, Zeplin, Principle and/or Invision for creating user flows, wireframes, interactive prototypes and visual designs
- Must be a strong collaborator across diverse groups, including Product Owners, Engineers, other stakeholders and team members (Jira or confluence a plus)
- Solid User-Centered Design approach to solving creative challenges, with demonstrated experience developing experience ecosystems composed of multiple components, touchpoints, channels and platforms
- Bachelor's Degree in design or design-related discipline (graphic design, user experience design, visual design, etc.) or equivalent experience prefered
- Online portfolio that demonstrates a thorough and modern UX & UI design understanding5+ years UX & UI design experience in a team environment Skills and
- Experience in computer vision and AI workflows is a Plus
