Data Solutions Manager 100% Remote (team based in NYC) 12-month contract with extensions
Position Overview: As a Solutions Manager you will hit the ground running as a go-to tech and data solutions expert and tackle a variety of challenges of both a technical and consultative nature.
You will act as a subject matter expert and provide solutions around platform and data utilization. This interdisciplinary role will have you work and build relationships with regional key stakeholders. Working closely with various digital marketing/media agencies and engineering teams requires a diverse skill set including data consulting, data integrations, audience insights, targeting solutions, client engagement and knowledge about the advertising industry.
As part of the global Growth & Success department you will act as technical consultant both internally and externally, as well as gatekeeper to our product and engineering teams. The role is part of the Global Product Enablement Team and reports into our Product Enablement Leader.
Measures of success: In three months, you would:
Establish initial relationships with assigned agency contacts
Gain significant understanding of specific elements of our Markets & Audiences product platform and position yourself as a trusted resource within the region
Learn the underlying database structure and query datasets
In six months, you would:
Be a known subject matter expert in the Marketing and Analytics product suite
Participate in solution onboarding and rollout efforts across various agency teams and for key end-user groups
Provide complex audience targeting and data solutions to solve agency’s challenging problems
Take on additional responsibilities and advance your career in the field of data and technology platforms
Responsibilities:
Play an active role in both the regional and global success of our products
Evangelize our data & technology capabilities within our agency relationships
Become a subject matter expert on key parts of the tech stack and act as a technical consultant both internally and externally
Execute technical solutions involving data mapping, conversions, onboarding, and activations, level 2 technical support as required to support issues, database queries and other ad hoc or custom technical tasks as required for customer support
Work closely with software engineers and data scientists to solve platform malfunctions based on global priorities and business impact
Provide product and solution performance feedback and ensure alignment with other technology functions such as Engineering, Operations, etc.
Act as the Voice of the End-user as part of the product development cycle
What you will need:
5+ years’ experience in a similar position required, ideally in Online Advertising or Technology
Technical background, experience with database structures, SQL, Python and R Scripting
Strong work ethic: desire to work in an entrepreneurial environment
Attention to detail and ability to multitask
Excellent analytical and communication skills
Ability to work independently is absolutely essential
Degrees in Math, Science, MIS, Communications, or Computer Science preferred
