Senior Salesforce Developer Contract As a Senior Salesforce Developer, you’ll be part of a 6-person Agile team that’s responsible for the CRM platform integration with Salesforce. Our products are at the heart of what we offer to our advisors and their clients. In addition to having an Agile mindset and a desire to produce great software, you’ll need a positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
Key responsibilities
Perform configuration and customization of the Salesforce.com platform
Provide project and technical leadership for key Salesforce implementation projects
Possess a strong understanding of business operations
Establish and maintain Salesforce implementation standards
Work under general direction and independently determines and develops approach to solutions
Demonstrated Salesforce mastery
Plan and implement mid- to large-scale projects from conception to completion
Understand how to adapt theory and best practices to fit the needs of the project
Show an appetite and aptitude for taking responsibility for technical decisions
Collaborate with team members on effective development practices and communicate with tact, professionalism, and an eye toward team progression
Requirements 5+ years of experience working on Salesforce platforms
Proven experience with Salesforce platform and lightening app development
Strong Experience with Salesforce APIs, Apex Triggers and Classes, SOQL, Force.com Tool and Toolkits.
Experience with OAuth and Salesforce 'Single Sign-On' configuration
Comprehensive experience on unit testing, debugging, deployment and troubleshooting in Salesforce.
Experience with declarative solutions including creation of custom objects, workflows, approvals, email alerts, field updates, outbound messages and communication templates
Direct experience working on CRM projects for middle market and enterprise size companies
Demonstrated experience and knowledge of relational databases, data modelling, and ETL tools
Experience with Agile development methodologies such as SCRUM
