Pro Desktop Support, Austin

Our Syrinx Client team is looking for an IT Support Technician to help us out for 3+ months, and potentially more with relationships built there.
This person will be responsible for resolving helpdesk tickets and assisting in projects including device provisioning and deployment.

This position will be based in Austin, TX, and will need to work from the office at least part time, and as needed. The Client also requires all on site employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID.

What you’ll do:

  • IT equipment Setups and Support - laptops, monitors, telephones, printers, and IPnetwork
  • Support relocating offices and new employee setups
  • Asset Management of equipment to-and-from remote workers
  • Manage access to SaaS applications including G Suite, Okta, Slack, and Jira
  • Manage (ISec) information security programs including SOC2
  • Ensure a positive onboarding and offboarding experience for all employees (onsite & remote)
  • Will require ONSITE work for optimal execution of responsibilities. NO REMOTES
What you’ll bring:
  • 3-10 years working in desktop support, IT Ops, Asset and Change management
  • A passion for helping people and bringing technical issues to resolution
  • Experience administering G Suite, Slack, Jira, and other SaaS providers
Big pluses include:
  • Hands-on experience with Jamf Pro MDM solution for mobile and macOS devices
