MYSQL Database Developer

This technical Analyst will develop software that supports the pay-function for biotech portals, and assist the teams in bringing exciting new solutions to market, you could be just the person we are looking for!!!

Responsibilities:

• Develop live-production MySQL database
• Develop on MySQL database for replication and scalability in clustering
• Monitor and optimize MySQL database performance and capacity planning
• Design/Develop and optimize database for new applications

This is a development role, no DBA's please.(DBA background is ok, but requires 5 years of directed development in recent roles, as a bare minimum separation)

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in MySQL specifically in Software Development
• Demonstrated experience with MySQL database design, implementation, performance tuning, and capacity planning
• Managing large scale database systems is a necessity
• Our Linux and Open Source/Linux foundational development and production environments requires a knowledge of Shell scripting, load indicators, and Master-to-Master replication
• Demonstrated excellent DB design skills for micro services based applications
• Additional nice-to-haves - knowledge in PL/SQL programming
• Proficient at admin tools for issue inspection
• Experienced with performance analysis & optimization, including indexing, partitions, schema redesigns

The role is open to some/all remote, but organized in the USA - authorization to work IN USA required, and within the EST (GMT-5), and optimally in Greater Boston Area. (open for H1, and c2c will be required to relo. and onsite)
