We need a seasoned application architect who is a badass with Microservices.  They have a bunch of monolithic .NET apps and they want an architect to help guide them (like a Sherpa).  This person needs to have experience converting monolithic apps to microservices using AWS tools like:

 

• Serverless/Lamdba
• API Gateway
• ECS
• App Mesh
• Dynamo/Aurora
• All of Cox Auto applications leverage Splunk and New Relic.

The engineers at will be implementing the recomendations, this resource will be responsible for the design and architecture and probably some POC’s. Here are some potential work items

• Articulate best practices for decomposing monolithic applications.
• Design for multi-region resiliency
• Design Target State architectures
• Consolidate architectures across teams to ensure consistency
