We’re looking for someone with the right temperament to manage the ambiguity that comes in our business and the passion to design, implement, and deploy innovative software solutions in our global business environment. You will be expected to:
- Collaborate with the product owner, architects, and other developers to design, prototype and develop enterprise class software
- Port and adapt the on-premise platform for deployment on GCP
- Maintain existing code and make improvements to increase maintainability, performance, and scalability
- Support software rollouts in production
- Support, debug and fix issues on production systems as 2nd level support
- Constantly improve code quality and test coverage
Qualifications
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject
- 3 – 5+ years of design & development experience
- Strong Java development background
- Experience building, deploying, and supporting enterprise class applications in the GCP environment
- Good knowledge of HTTP protocol and HTTP security
- Good knowledge of Java 8 and Springboot
- Strong understanding of Microservices frameworks
- Strong understanding of the Kubernetes and docker framework and applications in Microservices
- Experience with high volume request processing via asynchronous event driven microservices
- Experience with messaging/queueing systems such as Kafka and/or PubSub
- Good understanding of the SDLC and agile software development methodologies, such as Scrum
- Experience with unit testing and integration testing
- Experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB
- Experience with Java streams and functional paradigm is a plus
- Experience with Springboot Reactive Microservices is a plus
- Knowledge of NoSQL products is a plus
- Experience in AdTech is a plus
