We are a developer-founded, developer-run software consulting company that does a mix of staff augmentation and custom software development. We work on-site or off-site with clients to collaboratively create software. We build products for market, or for internal use at companies. Our services help companies make more money, save more money, build loyalty, and do much more. 

Unlike staffing firms run by recruiters, Syrinx’s experienced software developers are engaged in every step of the process, from the initial sales inquiry to the req qualification to helping us vet candidates before submitting. We take the time to understand a client’s business and technical needs up front and take pride in finding better candidates than our competition. As our business continues to experience a phase of rapid growth, we need to hire experienced technical recruiters to get to the next level. Syrinx concentrates on filling contract roles for our clients (as opposed to permanent placement or retained search).

Responsibilities:
  • Get subs, prep candidates, close deals, manage relationships.
  • End-to-end technical recruitment focused on contract software development skillsets.
  • Manage the entire relationship with developers – sourcing, placement, project performance, career growth. Our best developers are with us for years, not months.
  • Sample reqs include Java, .NET, DevOps, SRE, Cloud. JavaScript, Scrum Masters, Business Analysts, Technical Project Managers, SDET, QA Engineer.
  • Partner with Business Development Managers to define specific roles, technology, locations and functional areas.
  • Get leads and references for Business Development Managers
  • Work with the recruiting team to identify the most effective sourcing channels (advertisements, sourcing agencies, portals, and referrals) and monitor the effectiveness of channels to optimize our mix.
  • Source candidates through your network, LinkedIn Recruiter, CATS (Our ATS), Dice, Monster, Career Builder, networking events, employee referrals, and Indeed, using Boolean searches.
  • Leverage Stack Overflow, GitHub, and anywhere else the best software engineers hang out.
  • Hourly Rate / Salary negotiations with candidates
  • Close positions by coordinating offer letters and on-boarding formalities.
     
Requirements: Prefer at least 2 years of experience successfully recruiting contract positions in an agency setting.
