Required Skills:

• Portfolio and/or GitHub links
• Demonstrated design skills (Adobe Suite)
• HTML and CSS / Responsive Design
• Familiarity with Front-End frameworks
• JavaScript / Node
• CMS Platforms (WordPress, Drupal, Squarespace)
• CSS preprocessing (SASS/SCSS/Compass/Grunt)
• Experience with version control Systems such as GIT
• Familiarity with Console / Command Line
• Proficient with cross-browser development
• Comfortable debugging and addressing compatibility issues

 
Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Design, Graphic Design or in a related field
• 2-3 years of experience in Web Design and Development
• High level of design skill and technical proficiency
• An eye for detail and a dedication to quality
• Understanding of SEO principles and best practices
• Must have a working knowledge of Agile
• Must have experience supporting and managing client expectation

Pluses:

• PWA knowledge
• Chrome / Lighthouse Optimization, Speed Tests
• Experience with Jira & Confluence or other Project Management tools like TFS, Monday, Asana, ClickUp, etc.
• Familiar with using API’s
• React, Vue, Angular knowledge
• MySQL experience
• eCommerce knowledge (Magento, Shopify, BigCommerce, or other eCommerce platform workflows)
• WCAG Compliance
• Creativity and sense of humor
