Senior Software Engineer Consultant

Remote Role

Client: Syrinx Asset Management Partner 

12 Month Contract (with likely extension)

Work on a delivery team to develop, enhance, and support various Client Engagement solutions, primarily client reporting.

Overview:

The Senior / Lead Software Engineer Consultant will participate in a high level development capacity on a project building a robust, next gen web and desktop apps for an asset management firm in modern Microsoft technologies. Previous experience in financial services preferred, but not required. Experience working with client facing teams, providing automated workflow solutions and data management tools. Experience working with CRM systems, and strong understanding of the various domains within an asset management firm (investment operations, performance and attribution, trading etc.) The roles require functioning as a member of an Agile Scrum team and may require some direct interaction with business users.

Requirements:

• Senior-level or Tech Lead
• Several years of .NET experience, preferably full-stack.
• Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Technology Stack (e.g. .NET Core, C#)
• Experience building and consuming RESTful API’s
• Enjoys working with data (data transformations, ETLs, etc)
• Extensive experience with Relational Databases, ideally SQL Server
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD, DevOps, and Test Driven Development.
• Experience working in an Agile environment (e.g. Scrum, Kanban) required.
• Experience with building applications in Amazon Web Services
• Experience with SS&C’s Vision FI client reporting application or similar product is highly desired (e.g. Vermillion, Kurtosys, Coric)
