Senior Web Developer (WordPress)
This is a long term contract or contract to hire role that is remote for now...
Client is based in Boston, MA so we prefer local candidates in the case the contract is extended and offices reopen in 2021.
Mid-level or Senior level WordPress experience is a must have for this role!
Looking for someone to help support a site launch around blogging while developing customer facing UX based technology
- Development/Engineering:
- Infrastructure:
- Network/hosting: DNS, LAMP/LEMP stacks
- Data transfer: SFTP
- Version control: Git, SVN
- CMS: WordPress 5+ years (incl. experience w/ the new Gutenberg editor & experience w/ caching)
- Front end dev:
- HTML5
- CSS 3
- JavaScript (native JS (incl. familiarity w/ ES6), React, and jQuery)
- Back end dev:
- Documentation/Training:
- Wiki documentation (clear, well-structured)
- Training (able to teach content editors new skills, if needed)
- Maintenance:
- Keep WordPress plugins up to date
- Fix any bugs when they arise during testing
