Full-Stack Senior Developer
Boston, MA – 100% Remote
12-month contract with extensions
 
The Senior Developer will be a key member of our client’s growing technical team. The work will focus on expanding the functionality and adding new features to our quantitative financial application. The candidate will have the opportunity to work on interesting and challenging projects using advanced technologies while learning and implementing state-of-the-art techniques in quantitative finance. Creativity is both welcomed and encouraged. The role includes possibilities for growth, leadership and equity participation.
 
Duties:
• Expand the design & functionality of our core Python engine and associated class libraries
• Assist the design and implementation of our Javascript (ReactJS) front-end interface
• Implement/integrate machine learning algorithms into the Quotient application
• Create additional tools for product deployment, testing and client operational management
• Implement novel network/algorithm flow visualization and interaction features
• Aid in the addition/integration of new financial content sets
• Add to our SQL/Python data management capabilities
• Actively participate in product demos and marketing with client prospects
 
Skills and qualifications:
• 5+ years in a commercial software development role
• Hands-on experience with Python (particularly Numpy, SciPy & scikit-learn)
• Familiarity with Javasript/ReactJS & Django
• Creativity and a passion for learning, scientifically-minded & intellectually curious
• Knowledge of C & SQL helpful
