Enterprise Architect – Enterprise Application Architect
Enterprise/Solution Architect for loan accounting system implementation effort to “understand/assess current environment and support teams to build a future vision for our architecture to build against.”
Requirements:
• 15+ years’ experience as tech lead/architect in complex enterprise environments
• Experience with large scale enterprise systems implementation and ‘big system remediation’
• Enterprise & Solutions Application Architect of high volume transactional Financial Applications,
• Strong enterprise application software architecture, solutions architecture
• Mainframe experience is important; the mainframe will not be going away altogether – this person needs to understand how to integrate other applications with COTS loan accounting software along with other legacy mainframe applications.
o Fiserv loan accounting system experience is a plus
• Financial services with High Volume Transactions experience
• Big plus with loan accounting system experience (if they have it, great, but they also don’t want to limit the pool of good candidates)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with technology and business
• Hybrid - Cloud and On Prem Application Integration Architecture & Solutions Experience
• Azure Application Integration experience is desired
• Application Replatforming Experience (Archtitecture/Solutions Architecture) from Mainframe Cobol to Azure, and C#. Mainframe DB2/VSAM to SQL Server based solutions.
• Data Architecture Experience
Responsibilities:
• Facilitate the IT team on their estimation work:
o Provide a full-time resource for the IT Leadership group to lean on to make sure consistent progress is made.
o Track the components being estimated and coordinate estimating processes with appropriate SME’s.
o Document assumptions and risks, and follow up on dependencies and action items.
• Develop and Deliver the Architectural Vision document (aka, High-Level Reference Architecture), in collaboration with Carl Jaeschke (Data Architect), Paul, Dale and others.
o Review the current state of SunStream technology platforms, as well as any planned changes.
o Interview key stakeholders to determine high-level architectural direction.
o Assist and Work with the Enterprise Data Architect on modeling future state data flows and storage plans.
o Create conceptual designs and future state architecture diagrams.
o Develop a time-phased Roadmap to be included in the Architecture Vision.
• Support the Infrastructure Lead with defining the technology footprint: networking, databases, servers, middleware, etc.
• Act as a liaison to the Fiserv Architect on vendor application interfaces and technologies.
• Work with development teams to refactor/re-engineer existing application to work in the new environment.
• Present key findings and overviews to the leadership team, where applicable.
