• Java: Java 10 at a minimum. Bonus: be familiar with Java 11/12/13 features
• Kotlin: 1+ years experience, or a strong desire to learn
• Groovy: 1+ years experience. 
• Spring: Spring Boot, Spring Data
• Web - HTML, JavaScript, CSS. Should understand how to build a web page
• HTTP
• API development: The ability to define and build a REST or RPC style API in order to communicate with other parts of the LIMS ecosystem
• Testing: Spock experience preferred, strong JUnit/TestNG experience required
• BDD - nice to have.
• Methodology - Kanban experience is a real plus, but time on a Scrum team is key. 
• Code reviews - should have experience doing them on a regular basis
• Invested in delivering features to Production
