Senior Ruby Consultant

This is a remote role with a Syrinx Marketing Technology Partner based MA

12+ Month Contract with Possible Extension (Syrinx will hire full-time if desired)

 

What you’ll do:

As a contributor to a cross-functional scrum team, you will develop new features that allow our customers to engage with their customers in the digital marketing space

 

Who you are:

Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or a related discipline preferred

8+ years industry experience in software development is a must

4+ years experience developing in Ruby/Rails is a must

2+ years experience programming in AWS is a must. Experience working with services like DynamoDB, Aurora, Lambda/Serverless, CloudWatch, S3, EC2, and IAM is a plus

2+ years experience developing in Javascript/React is plus

2+ years experience programming in SQL with MySQL is must

Experience creating robust microservices with RESTful API’s is a must

Experience in debugging using New Relic is a plus

Experience in debugging using Splunk is a plus

Experience leading a software development team is a must

Experience with unit testing and test-driven development is a plus
