Responsibilities:

Responsible for end to end integration of complex video on demand (VOD) systems for small to large multiple-system operators.
Frequently assist on launch client integrations, working closely with integration and consulting groups and engineering to document new products, assist with defect detection and resolution, and act as on site field support.
Building and integrating virtual networks into existing customer environments.
Installing and managing Dell EqualLogic SAN's, Dell NAS and Force 10 switches.
Installing and configuring Content Management Systems.
Integrating with custom VOD client code
Solid understanding of TCP/IP network architecture and design along with RAID storage solutions for delivery of real time video content and data across a LAN.
Linux administration

Desired Experience:

Knowledge of open source operating systems and database technologies: CentOS, MySQL and Cassandra.
Know your way around VMWare virtualization - starting and stopping servers, management, configuration
Be able to troubleshoot where packets are dropping along a network using tools like TCPDump and WireShark
Configuration of switching equipment from popular manufacturers like Cisco
Outstanding troubleshooting skills as a Technical Support Manager and Technical Support Representative and trainer.
Experience in video network architecture, computer hardware and design, system and network performance testing, technical support and IT infrastructure background.
Experience with VLAN
