Senior .NET Web Developer
Needham, MAMust be local to MA/NH/RI Area as this role is on-site West of Boston
Overview:
The Senior .NET Web Developer will participate in a development capacity on a project building a robust web app for a utility technology company with future application development work on IOT type projects. The candidate should be familiar with the Microsoft technology stack in general, and .NET in particular (see requirements below).
Primary Responsibilities:
- Create new system components
- Enhance existing components
- Provide remediation for existing system issues
- Participate in peer reviews (both code and design reviews)
- Produce effective technical documentation where needed
Mandatory requirements:
- Senior-level.
- Several years of .NET experience.

- 8+ years of experience building robust web applications with ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Web API, Entity Framework, and SQL Server
- experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and jQuery
- experience in JavaScript frameworks such as AngularJS, ReactJS, EmberJS, AureliaJS, and/or Knockout is a plus
- 2+ years’ experience in cloud development, preferably Azure.
- Strong object-oriented design and patterns in .NET
- Familiarity with distributed enterprise applications (systems that span several physical machines)
- Experience with automated unit testing
- Demonstrated database proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server 2012, at least 3 years
