Z/OS DevOps Engineer

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

This amazing team is looking for an expert in the installation, configuration and ongoing maintenance of our virtual IBM zOS Mainframe infrastructure. Our professional networks will be running technologies such as Assembler, COBOL, CICS, DB2, IMS.

Must haves:

• Experience in installing and configuring IMS TM, and DB.
• Experience in installing and configuring zOS.
• Experience with DevOps tools - specifically Jenkins
• English communication skills and US Work Authorization

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

• Experience with DevOps tools that interact with zOS.
• Experience in installing and configuring other mainframe technology such as CICS, MQ and/or DB2.
• Experience with working on non-mainframe systems (e.g. Windows or Linux
• Experience analyzing both system and programming issues with IMS
• Process improvement experience for zOS integration.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 5 years’ experience with zOS administration.
• Proven (2+ years) experience with DevOps tools.

Travel & Location Requirements

This job works remote / home-based.
Work on a client site may be required
If needed, Travel is dependent upon client assignments

Authorization and Process

Can not do sponsorship (no C2C) for these roles. Can be contract(W2), or contract to hire.
USCitizan and GC(pr only); no remotes outside of USA (including no Canada/Quebec désolé)
Work must be done within the continental USA, and EST Time zone preferred.
