Sr. (MS) Electrical Engineers

For immediate long term and Contract to hire:

Syrinx in collaboration with our top tier client, is seeking a highly capable Electronics/Electrical Engineer to join teams in the Allston Innovation Laboratory, in order to build-out our capabilities in advancement of complex IOT devices for Manufacture in the Client's product developments line.

Working closely with our engineers, you will Design...

  • Digital interfaces (examples: I2C, I2S, high speed digital)
  • Design switch mode power supplies
  • General discrete component and board level analog and mixed-signals design
as well as...
  • Lithium battery systems designs (chargers, control, protection, etc.)
  • Micro-controller and digital-signal processing (DSP) hardware design

You will help us Build and Test

  • Control systems, and debug Power systems for analysis and optimization
  • Build, test, and create electrical prototypes and refine complex validation tasks for a highly diverse portfolio of consumer electronic products
  • Resolution of EMC problems and advanced debugging solutions
  • with Regulatory compliance and certifications knowledge

Candidates must be proficient in:

  • Creation and execution using high-speed PCB design tools (ex. Sigrity, etc.)
  • Must be skilled in providing PCB Layout input and advice for HDI designs (both small and larger board sizes).
  • Experienced in Circuit simulation skills (LTSPICE, SIMPLIS, etc.) and the use of MATLAB (potentially)
  • Experience in one or more of the following domains, is a welcome plus:
    • Networking protocol stacks (Ethernet, Wi-Fi, etc.)
    • General firmware/software development considerations and coding
  • Ability to manage workload across multiple projects with varying priorities 

Bonus Sector Experiences that we seek:

  • High volume consumer product manufacturing,
  • Medical device or automotive industries or... 
  • Hands on with Class-AB & Class-D amplifiers 

Additionally bonus experience includes ANY design or testing of audio electronics, loudspeakers, microphones, audio recording, audio measurement tools, and/or medical devices

Education: Preferred MS in EE Engineering Technology or related field 6-8 years (Sr) preferred

On-Site Requirement: Regional to *Location required.
Hybrid remote 2 to 3 days per week 

Contract Term: Minimum - through July/2023 (12mo) with FTE conversion options available
