Senior Software Engineer Consultant (AWS)

Client: Asset Management

Fully Remote Role

 

Overview:

The Senior / Lead Software Engineer Consultant will participate in a high level development capacity on a project building a robust, next gen web apps for an asset management firm in an AWS environment. Previous experience in financial services preferred, but not required. Experience working with client facing teams, providing automated workflow solutions and data management tools. Experience working with CRM systems, and strong understanding of the various domains within an asset management firm (investment operations, performance and attribution, trading etc.) The roles require functioning as a member of an Agile Scrum team and may require some direct interaction with business users.

Requirements:

• Senior-level or Tech Lead
• Strong working knowledge of modern software design principles, concepts, data-structures and design patterns
• Programming experience with either Python or C# (prefer both)
• Practical experience developing and architecting solutions in AWS
• Development & operational experience with SQL/NoSQL and other data technologies like Postgres/DynamoDB/MongoDB etc.
• Real world use of Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code
• This will also be a Devops and cross functional, where we’re responsible for everything (Architecture, development, testing, support, monitoring)
