Our client, one of the largest marketing based data analytics solution providers, is searching for a Senior Java Developer to join their team remotely to support a tech comprised of mixed proprietary and licensed components that power their data collection, audience, and identity generation.

***This is a 1+ year contract with opportunity for extension/conversion!***
***This is a 100% remote opportunity, candidates MUST BE US residents.

As a Senior Java Developer, you will maintain and create new applications in a Microservices architecture while coordinating with product owners, architects, and other developers to design, prototype and develop enterprise class software. This person will work alongside a team of developers to optimize the current data management platform. 

Responsibilities: 

• Maintaining existing code and make improvements to increase maintainability, performance, and scalability
• Supporting current software rollouts in production
• Porting and adapting the on-premise platform for deployment on GCP

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree required 
• 4+ years of Java development experience 
• Proficiency in Java 8 development, Springboot, and Microservices architecture required
• Background in creating and deploying enterprise class applications in a GCP environment
• Proficiency in containerization tools: Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
• Experience in RDBMS such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, or NoSQL (bonus)
