Overview

Our top Defense client is looking for a long-term Cyber Network Operations Business Lead who will be the program manager and business development leader responsible for conceiving, creating, capturing and executing highly innovative CNE/CNA programs. 

This position requires the rare combination of outstanding technical talent along with exceptional interpersonal and organizational insight in order to spot emerging customer challenges; mobilize our Client's capabilities, and address the challenges involved in Defense programs from soup to nuts.

  • partnerships
and drive Product engineering resources to support and grow the Cyber Defense Special Operations business.
On top of this, Contractors will have access to the host Client's programs to improve work-life balance, health and finance workshops, off site social events, etc.

Responsibilities

We seek a highly qualified candidate to lead Client programs and successfully grow new business for national CNE/CNA capabilities. The Special Programs office delivers first-of-a-kind technical solutions for the Intelligence Community, special DoD entities, and advanced technology sponsors.
Location/Travel:
This position is centered in our Reston, VA office working in close collaboration with a Cambridge, MA program office and engineering staff. 

Qualifications

  • Engineer or Program Manager with a deep CNE/CNA technical background.  
  • Experience adopting and driving high-technology programs starting from the research level to production (including demonstrating budget, and all associated factors)
  • Best is ~7+ years of program management, program shaping, and requirements capture experience (10-30+ is fine too)
  • Deep and demonstrated understanding of Gov acquisition process is a MUST
  • Elite and demonstrated capture of complex requirements that includes direct Client and RFP interaction

The ideal candidate should demonstrate a proven ability to innovate in a competitive field, be persuasive, and possess the top tier communication skills needed to drive the team, project, and purpose all the way from 'white board' to the field.
 
A bachelor’s degree in a related technical field is required, but MS or PHD is highly preferred.
Technical foundation is not required. Emphasis on product development knowledge over IC atomic understanding. Good?
And obviously, experience with IC sponsors, DARPA and other CNO customers is required.
The capacity to lead, influence and inspire others?
Essential.
