This role is with a Syrinx client in the Financial Technology space:

This a software developer role for someone with extensive experience in performance and security engineering.
Must have experience in developing Performance testing scripts for Cloud or AWS based products.
Must have senior level development experience with Java and/or Python
Must have used Performance Center or JMeter or Blaze meter

Main Duties

This position is responsible for building platform level performance, security test strategy, conduct various types of performance testing in order to measure and analyze system performance (e.g., response times, transaction rates) and verify the system’s ability to meet established performance requirements.
Performance requirements will vary based on architectural and business requirements.
Develop performance, load & security test scenarios and scripts in support of these objectives.
Work with development teams to design performance test strategies
Participate as part of a team in design and implementation, leveraging modern design patterns to achieve better performance, scalability, and overall stability of applications
Analyze metrics and code to uncover performance regressions and opportunities for optimization, and work with teams across the organization to speed things up.
Experience with best of breed Cloud technologies, preferably AWS services.

Fluency of Java or Python
Experience integrating performance tools into CI/CD pipelines (Bamboo, Jenkins, Travis CI)
Experience using performance tooling (JMeter, Performance Center, Blaze Meter, Load Runner)
Experience/Knowledge with Agile Software Development methodologies
