Technical Lead - Full Stack

Responsibilities

The Full Stack Software (FSW) Group works on exciting, diverse, and cutting-edge projects including large scale machine learning systems, operational engineering information systems, and fielded systems for battlefield situational awareness.   

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:  

• B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other software focused engineering discipline with 5+ years hands-on experience working in web development
• Experience with front end frameworks, preferably React, using Node.js for backend development, python, and CI/CD
• Experience building and leading interdisciplinary teams to demonstrable successes
• Flexible multi-tasker who can adapt to evolving priorities
• Strategic thinker who can craft and execute a vision for the group that moves the larger organizational goals forward
• Collaborative team player with a passion for people and innovation
• Ability to clearly communicate about technology to a broad range of audiences, including customers, internal and external stakeholders, management, engineering peers, and others across a broad range of technical and non-technical backgrounds

 
Preferred Qualifications:  

• Demonstrated technical expertise in full stack web development, including both front and back end software development
• Knowledge of current best practices, tools, and frameworks as well as emerging technologies, trends, and processes within full stack web software development
• Experience building applications using python in a CI/CD environment
