Marketing Business Analyst

Duties include:
• Provide overall programming and technical support for the Marketing Automation system, along with business rules and guidance as needed to support IT and the business.
• Perform day-to-day system maintenance and configuration to the Marketing Automation toolset. Act as the first line of defense for proactive system monitoring (check daily reports and failed calls), as well as reactive problem resolution management with vendor and IT teams. Perform technical design activities to support business requirements and requests and work closely with teams to define, plus implement new functionality and product features.
• Provide feedback, guidance, and expertise to functional marketing team members and end business users to support best practices in tool administration;
• Execute unit testing and support user acceptance testing for Marketing Automation system configuration and development; Update field integrations between Marketing Automation tools and SalesForce.com CRM as needed. Support integrations with other 3rd party systems including Cvent and Privacy SaaS solutions.
• Responsible for managing the underlying data inputs / structures that impact the Marketing Automation system in order to scale and perform reliably; Implement programs to populate/cleanse data fields as needed.
• Work closely with key internal stakeholders and Salesforce.com CRM team to develop customized reports to validate data loads and lead flow. Assist in the creation of dashboards that meet the specialized needs of end-user marketing clients to facilitate quick insights to further improve future campaign performance.
• Maintains general housekeeping standards such as managing, auditing, and overseeing directory folder structures and asset naming consistency (segments, campaign names, canvases, reports, basic page tagging, etc.) as well as manages the creation of new segments and campaign canvases; participates in Marketing Automation Governance activities with marketing stakeholders to review proposed system/policy changes.
• Provisioning of system accounts (username / password) to internal marketing clients in need of access to the tool in order to manage, execute, and report on marketing efforts launched out of the Marketing Automation tool. Provide direct training to new internal users of the tool, as well as provision training/ support services provided by third parties.

Requirements, Skills & Experience:
• Minimum of 5-7 years of Administration experience in an IT organization administering
Marketing Automation tools (e.g., Oracle Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Eloqua, Pardot,
Marketo, etc.)
• Solid understanding of web technologies, relational databases and multi-tier applications.
• Salesforce CRM experience
• Experience using demand and project management tools including JIRA
• Ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment and deliver on commitments in a timely
manner
• Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while
meeting deadlines
• Ability to extract and analyze data for troubleshooting and reporting
• Analytical skills, to critically evaluate the information gathered from multiple sources, and
reconcile conflicts. Ability to translate user requests into underlying system needs, and distinguish
solution ideas from requirements
• Strong communication skills, with ability to comfortably work with a wide range of stakeholders
across all levels of the organization including senior management at the Sr. Director and VP level
Preferred:
• Oracle recognized certification Eloqua or Pardot Masters Certification, Oracle Business
Intelligence
• MS Office Suite: high level of proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access Experience
with database management applications a plus.
• HTML, CSS, JavaScript a plus
• Tools such as: MicroStrategy, Domo, Business Objects, SAS, MS SQL Server, or comfort with SQL
coding preferred
• BA / BS in quantitative or technical field preferred
