Senior React Developer
 
• 7-10 years of experience and a Bachelor's degree in computer science or a STEM field.
• Full understanding of software development processes and how your work contributes to the larger goals of an engineering team. You know how to make your team better one step at a time.
• Experience working with a team on a large project, applying Agile software development methodologies.
• Extensive experience working with interpreted programming languages – including JavaScript, TypeScript and ECMAScript – and frameworks like React
• In-depth knowledge of HTML 5 and CSS, HTML5, Javascript, and UI/UX
• Have a familiarity of Bootstrap and Git
• Create clean well-documented code in CSS/HTML/JS with modern techniques/approaches and any new language that HMH uses
• Solid understanding of user experience and interaction design across all digital platforms – how to craft an interaction that will intuitively lead a user through a flow
• Interest in adopting new technologies and methodologies such as functional programming, distributed computing, machine learning, advanced data engineering, serverless computing.
• Interest in cloud technologies (AWS/Azure) and systems like Apache Kafka, Apache Spark, Amazon Kinesis, etc.ET WebAPI.
• API development using REST/JSON and SOAP/XML Web services.
• Experience with automation for testing, continuous integration, code coverage, and build processes
• Experience with DevOps (Jenkins, Bamboo, etc.)
• Strong agile/scrum development experience
• Strong collaboration and communication skills within distributed project teams
• Web Service/Microservice architectures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Very good understanding of SQL databases.
