At Syrinx Consulting we're looking for a Senior Engineer with strong Python and Django chops to help build out the back-end of a leading edge financial application.  Our team is energetic, creative and innovating...looking at interacting with technology in new ways that push the boundaries and help make people's financial lives easier.  
 

• 2+ years of experience with Django
• Experience in web application development using a modern web framework
• Experience with RESTful API design, ORM concepts and  testing
• Experience creating web services to support  front end. 
• Experience in or around mobile apps is a plus, though not necessary
• Experience in a start-up like environment where we build and innovate quickly
• Experience developing with ES6 and React is a plus
• Experience working with microservice patterns, Docker and Kubernetes is a plus
• Ability to work in an agile and fast paced environment
• Highly communicative and not afraid to ask questions to learn the environment more deeply to help drive solutions. 

This is a long-term contract with possibility of extensions!
