We are looking for a senior level web application developer to build a new Customer Service automation product for a major travel site. This is a green field project. The back-end can be Python or Node, you pick! You will on a very small team with major independence.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Designing and developing web services and REST APIs that enable customer experiences.
- The successful candidate will have deep development experience in cloud microservices, and has built robust, highly scalable, high-performance distributed systems that connect cloud microservices with mobile, web, and standalone applications.
Responsibilities include:
- Design and build highly scalable, resilient, performant APIs
- Collaborate with front-end and mobile app teams to develop product features and services
- Work with QA on developing testing processes, frameworks, and automation strategies
- Work with platform architects on software and system optimizations, helping to identify and remove potential performance bottlenecks
- Document the work you do, especially APIs that you create
