Senior Platform Engineer Consultant
Remote, MA12 Month Contract or Contract to Hire
Fully remote with some visits to Boston or San Jose offices
- Messaging and Microservices is a must!
- We need GO or JAVA or Python experience – Just 1 of them is fine
- Kafka experience is a very nice to have
Technical Requirements
· Knowledge of event based microservice architecture patterns
· Reasoned API design opinions
· Interest in IOT platform communication and centralized device management
· Comfortable working with relational databases
Some experience with:
o Kafka or similar distributed messaging service
o Container runtimes
o AWS Cloud
o Functions as a service (e.g. Lambda)
Senior level development skills in at least one of the following languages:
o Go
o Java
o Python
Any experience with the following technologies and patterns would be nice, but not required:
o Couchbase, Bosh/CloudFoundry, Concourse
