Technical Requirements 

·         Knowledge of event based microservice architecture patterns 

·         Reasoned API design opinions 

·         Comfort level integrating with evolving external system dependencies 

·         Interest in IOT platform communication and centralized device management 

·         Comfortable working with relational databases, particularly Postgres 

·         Some experience with:  

o    Kafka or similar distributed messaging service 

o    Container runtimes 

o    AWS Cloud 

o    K8S (self-hosted or a managed flavor) 

o    Functions as a service (e.g. Lambda) 

·         Senior level skills in at least one of the following languages: 

o    Go 

o    Java 

o    Python 

·         Any experience with the following technologies and patterns would be nice, but not required: 

o    Couchbase 

o    Bosh/CloudFoundry 

o    Concourse 

o    Vault 

o    Façade design pattern 

o    Event sourcing design pattern 

o    Strangler design pattern
