Top consulting team in Jacksonville FLA is designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining Java based components and interfaces for high-volume, low-latency applications with high performance and availability projects that impact internationally deployed teams in service to US service-members worldwide.

The person in this role will maintain and update existing enterprise applications and may be tasked to create new solutions per [client] assignment.

The role is 99% REMOTE, but due to security it requires an in-person quarterly refresh, so we are still limited to people within day-trip distance of Jacksonville, FLA.

Requirements/Qualifications:
• Must have 6+ years software development experience including Java(OOP)
• Including at least 3 years of work experience in Object-oriented programming specifically on Java 1.8+.
• Has knowledge or relevant work experience with any of the following web frameworks like Angular 2+, Vue, or Ember (React is fine too).
• Must have at least 4 years of experience in Object-oriented programming specifically on JAVA/J2EE
• Must also be a US Citizen ONLY, for security reasons.

Key Responsibilities/Duties:
• Develops new and enhances existing software applications throughout SDLC.
• Participates in code reviews and training.
• Deliver high quality software by creating unit test plan and testing code thoroughly.
• Adept with the tools, applications, and processes used for software development.
• Implements solutions as designed in technical documentation specification and coding standards.
• Creates project documentations and coordinate technical issues.
• Advance and learn [client] business rules and concepts, challenges, software specifications and designs as provided by the technical lead
