In this role, you will be building and maintaining automation scripts for our web based products. You will help develop the test strategy within your agile team, work in an integrated and collaborative fashion with the rest of the test and development team and communicate frequently with the entire product team about all critical product information discovered.

 
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Work with Scrum teams to implement a new Automation framework using Selenium
  • Collaboratively works with team(s) to identify, vet, and pursue high-value automation opportunities
  • Creates, maintains and executes automated smoke, application, functional and regression tests
  • May lead off-shore automation resources in the accomplishment and direction of tasks.
  • Analyzes test plans, test data and test cases and assists in determining suitability, enhancements and priority for automation
  • Works collaboratively with test team, development team and others to design and develop effective automation solutions
  • Designs and develops automation framework and automation artifacts for variety of testing situations
  • Works with, teaches, and mentors automation-savvy team members in automation techniques and skills
  • Perform smoke, functional, performance and regression testing, including appropriate level of testing to ensure that systems or applications are tested effectively prior to implementation
  • Enters problems and issues into an issue tracking system and participates in resolution of application defects
  • Contributes to implementation and advancement of current approaches to automation testing
  • Assists in defining and establishing automation and other processes and best practices, contributing ideas and effort toward continuous improvement
  • Performs other duties as assigned
 
EXPERIENCE:
  • 5+ years exposure to automation and/or Java development
  • Working knowledge of Selenium and its implementation on an Agile/Scrum project
  • Working knowledge of test automation frameworks and architectures
  • History of automating and executing automation with little supervision
  • Working knowledge of Agile concepts and practices
