Business Analyst

Job Summary
We are seeking a Business Analyst to be a key partner within the Application Development team. The Business Analyst will have diverse responsibilities focused on technology and system implementations, as well as process analysis, supporting key business and operational initiatives, among other critical activities.
Primary Functions:
  • Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
  • Perform requirements gathering and providing detailed documentation.
  • Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies.
  • Staying up-to-date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.
  • Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
  • Effectively communicating insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
  • Performing user acceptance testing.
  • Serving as a liaison between stakeholders, Data Services and Application Development Team.
  • Managing competing priorities.
 Secondary Functions:
  • Participate in enterprise projects lending specific subject expertise.
  • Lead projects either as the sole contributor or with other team members.
  • Liaison with other groups within Access on company initiatives.
  • Work with architecture and development team on IT strategies and design
       
Education and Years of Experience:
  • College Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3 years’ experience as IT business analyst or similar role
 Certifications, Licenses, Credentials:
  • ITIL Certification – preferred not required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Be self-driven, and show ability to deliver on ambiguous projects with incomplete or imperfect data
  • Ability to work in a team environment that promotes collaboration
  • Self-motivated, ability to work under pressure and on own initiative.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to think independently and consider cross-functional and downstream impacts.
